On 11-10 we went to see Thor at the 9:15 pm showing. When we got to the theater there was an elderly lady at the front of the line complaining about something and a dad with 5 kids in front of us. We stood in line for 10 min unaware that there were kiosk's behind us(because we had not been here before). The manager then came over to talk to this lady and told some of us to go to the first concession line to get our tickets. We waited there for 5 min only to have another employee go over and start helping people who were behind us back at the ticket line. It was very frustrating and annoying that this was our first experience here. We just moved to Owatonna and will attempt another try due to it being convenient. The reason I gave 3 stars and not fewer was because the seats were great!
Standard theatre. Standard options. Basic coke options for drinks. Upgrading their seats soon, that should be fantastic! Really wish this theatre would host special event showings like the theatre in the Mankato mall. Would probably visit here more often with special events.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Comfy recliner seats BUT reserved seating SUCKS. What ever happened to getting to the theater early to get good seating?! Now you only have a choice of seats if you buy your tickets online and reserve your seats like the little entitled princess you are!
Recliners are great though if you want a good seat you need to pay online beforehand as it is assigned seating. Good popcorn, clean theatre and good concessions workers.
This theatre has always been alright if you just want your standard theatrical release movies, it's just nothing special. At least the seating is getting upgraded! Oh, and $5 Tuesdays are great too!
Also, may just be the crew that night, but the workers should remember to close the theatre doors while a movie is playing. Upon exiting my movie, I noticed all doors were still open and could hear 3 different action movies (car engines revving, explosions, gun fire etc) flowing into the halls, and likely into the other theatres.
Great seats now...only down fall kinda is that if u don't get ur assigned seat u pick soon enough then u may not be able to go as a group to sit together
